Enjoyed that first half, some lovely interplay between Cole and Gerrard, impressed with Jovo pacey and a willing runner. Pacheco came into it bit better after shaky start. Ngog reminds me of Bendtner, might score one but will miss 4 or 5, i still don't mind Ngog though bit raw and naive at times but he's definitely improving at end of the day he has scored one and won a peno which can't be sniffed at. Great Stevie to get off the mark so early too, would be nice to see Cole getting one.

Ngog really needs to start taking his easy chances. I know he's scored and won a pen but he wont get this many chances against a good side.

Gerrard and Cole look like they will work great together, nice to see some free flowing footy, still hard to judge because of the opposition but encouraging never the less.

 

Ngog is never gonna be a Torres but has done very well to get on the end of things and even create a few problems himself.

 

Id like to see Lucas move the ball a little quicker, but he has done well too.
