Goalkeeper is definitely the weak spot, James is the most experienced but not entirely trustworthy in big games and Hart is too young (And has shit hair). I'd go for:

 

Green

 

Johnson Terry Ferdinand Cole

 

Gerrard Lampard Barry Cole

 

Crouch Rooney

 

Full backs provide most of the width with Gerrard and Cole playing inside quite a bit. In fact, it's probably more of a 4-1-3-2 than 4-4-2, with Barry sat back.

I'm sorry, but I'm negging you.

 

I hate it when people say "Pick the team you want" and then promptly do the Crouch/Defoe stuff and don't actually pick a team. A team has 11 players, one per position. If you are going to pick a team, then pick it. Don't sit on the fence on your thread and pick 11 outfield players and not pick a goalie when that is clearly a weak area that needs a decision.
