He said that? After playing in a CL final with us? Bit stupid of him then. Are you sure he didn't say he left for first team football?

That's what I seem to remember at least. Of course getting a pay rise probably also helped.

Redknapp has just been named Premier League manager of the season. As far as I'm concerned it should have been Hodgson.

Hodgson has got his team to the final of the europa cup but his team have lost more than they have won in the league so he doesn't deserve to get the PREMIER LEAGUE manager of the year.

Isn't it sad that finishing 4th is now hailed as some great achievement.

The Sky Sports Commentator at full time in the Man City v Spurs game even claimed that it was "one of the biggest results in Tottenham's history".

Surely the game is still all about winning trophies. 1st is 1st, 2nd is nowhere and all that.....

For finishing (probably) 12th?

Why not Allardyce? Probably had less money and 1 point ahead of them currently. Or Pulis at Stoke?

Your right, but LFC have been as guilty as anyone in placing 4th place in higher regard than winning a Cup.

I hope we really target the domestic cups next season, if Villa and Pompey can get to finals then we should be capable.

Its galling that no mark teams like Everton have been to Wembley twice whilst we are still waiting to play there.
