The second set was one of the most enthralling I have ever seen

Watched yesterday's game also & Murray seems to have got the upper hand on Federer psychologically.

Both the first and second sets were unbelievable. 20 minute tie break in the second. 5 Championship points for Murray, 3 for Djokovic. Great match. Some incredible points. They're the top two in the game at the moment.

I didn't see it today.

He's got a hell of a chance of pushing for the no.1 ranking next year. He's dropping some points this weekend, but then apart from the Aussie open he's dropping virtually no points till March. Also he has a chance of a decent points haul at the ATP finals as he's dropping nowt from last year. Anything like a decent Clay season (which would be a shock tbf) would push him there.

I would agree with that, but I think Federer will re-group, Rafa isn't far away from fitness & Del Potro might edge closer, so I think next year will be brilliant.

Congrats too to Heather Watson , 24 years without a WTA winner was a bit embarrassing but Watson & Robson could actually give us something positive to look forward to. The good thing for me is that they both young & have massive flaws but are in & around the top 50, so sort them out & the sky is the limit for them.

Just got beaten by unseeded qualifier Jerzy Janowics in the Paris Open after being 1 set up and with a match point in the second

Seems like the long season has caught up with himself, Djokovic and Federer with Novak getting beaten yesterday and Fed pulling out of this weeks tournament after losing in the final at Basel last sunday to Del Potro. Hard to pick a favourite for the end of year final in London next week now.

Into the Australian Open without dropping a set.

R1 beat Haase 6-3 6-1 6-3

R2 beat Sousa 6-2 6-2 6-4

R3 beat Berankis 6-3 6-4 7-5

R4 beat Simon 6-3 6-1 6-3

R5 beat Chardy 6-4 6-1 6-2

Federer has just dropped a set to Tsonga, Djokovic isn't looking convincing.

I think he has to be favourite to win this.
