F**tball on the GF

After receiving a (harsh, in my opinion) negging for a slight f**tball reference on the GF in the context of telling a story, I'd just like to ask the good people of the GF, where do you draw the line?

 

I know that the mere mention of a spherical ball with black hexagons can leave some foaming at the mouth and some seem to be a bit more liberal with regards to it, so where do you stand on the matter?

Noos is the voice of wisdom and experience in these matters. Silly season means endless buffoonery from choppers who suddenly discover that there is life outside of the *F and they all come in here. It needs to be exterminated afore it starts.
