Staggering. Just watched "greatest champions league moments" on Itv4. All the usual great goals, saves etc.

Then comes the climax of the show: The greatest champions league comeback of all time as voted for by Earle, Townsend, pleat etc......They vote uniteds win against Munich!!!!!!!!!!!! I was Fuckin speechless!

 

Id have understood if it was a richard keys hairy united wank fest but they all actually sat there, straight faced and said although our game was great, for "sheer drama" you couldnt beat the united game.

 

They should be taken off the fucking air. Jonathon Ross got banned for less shite talking.

It really showed some great moments. Morientes and Riedle looked like world beaters!

 

Cannot get over that though. United get absolutely dicked for 89 minutes and then score two scrappy tap ins. Not saying it wasnt an eye opening comeback, but to seriously say it was better than ours, having just shown the highlights of our game, which lasted about ten times longer than their highlights takes the current United love boat to unchartered waters

It's probably the only game where they didn't put the adverts on during the climax.

 

To put it into perspective though. It was the dying seconds of the game and they pulled back two goals to win it from absolutely nothing.

We hauled ourselves back into a lost game and were worthy of the draw in the end.

 

Ours was emotional, theirs dramatic.

 

I think it would be hard to choose between them.
