Converting an iMac to a Sky Q screen

So our shitty old bedroom telly packed up yesterday and I was looking at new ones. Long story short, we'll eventually switch the downstairs telly to the bedroom and get a boss uber-telly for downstairs. Finances aren't there yet though so in the meantime I wondered whether it was possible to use an old iMac as a screen for he Sky Q mini-box. Does anyone know whether this is possible and how easy it is please? I don't need it to be used as computer at all; just as a telly screen.

An older iMac is deffo out without buying something like an elgato eyetv, which aren’t cheap. I think you’re probably out of luck.

Oh, man. I sold a decent little 19” telly this morning for £30. I’d have offered it to you if I’d seen this.
