If you have the eye, hand coordination and the will to train for hours every day Darts is an easy game to master. Stopping the nerves on a big stage is something different, when I watched the tour this year you could see Cross wan't phased by it all.

Spot on that.

I imagine there's not much betweem them all in the training rooms, it's just having the temperament that separates the winners/losers.

Yep, it is the same at every level. Only played equivalent of County darts over here but witnessed melt sowns by some very good players or someone average just plugging away to win matches.

Taylor is such an arsehole.

Yeah, not showing Cross any respect, yet he bangs on about other players giving him/the game respect all the time, he' won't be missed, and I dare say a lot of players feel the same.

That's true but it's another thing entirely to not even be on the main tour this time last year to winning the World's averaging 105 or whatever it is.

He's been building all year mate, but yeah, it is a decent enough point. Taylor himself turned up out of the blue, as did MVG to a certain extent.

6-1....demolition job. I'm feeling comfortable now, no way is Taylor gonna win this now. I mentioned Cross was in with a shout a few months back before the match plays and again at the start of the Worlds, can't believe I didn't shove money on him.

Taylor did but that was a different type of erase, I'd say. MVG won the World Masters at 17 besting Martin Adams in the final, he hit a 9 darter in a TV competition against Barney at a similar age, he's always been known as a phenomenon.

Haven't really kept up with the tour at all in 2017 compared to other years so he's a complete surprise package for me. Really like him though.

He's getting spanked here. Lovely stuff.

Hope it finishes 7-1 or 7-2, Taylor bowing out on a spanking would be so sweet. Fuck the fat cunt and all those mongs in the crowd. Great player, done a lot for the game but a cunt of a human being.

Yeah, but Cross has always played at a high level, just didn't turn pro until getting his card and touring as of last February. Deffo rags to riches story though.
