The decision not to cash in on that £20m offer, last summer, has cost us big time in January.

Danny Ings posted a selfie with his girlfriend as the Liverpool striker enjoyed an “amazing holiday” over the weekend.  

 

 

The England Under-21 international is currently sidelined with an injury problem which has kept the striker out of action since November.

 

Ings suffered another injury following his cameo performance in a 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup at Anfield.

 

The Winchester-born striker was ruled out for almost seven months in his first training session under Jurgen Klopp back in October 2015.

 

The 24-year-old hasn’t been afraid to post selfies with his blonde bombshell girlfriend Georgia Gibbs since the beginning of their relationship last year.

 

And Ings posted the above selfie on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Amazing weekend with my love  @georgiagibbs_”

The Liverpool striker has scored three times in 11 games in all competitions in his stop-start Anfield career so far.

 

Ings earned a reputation as an exciting striker during his four-year stay at Burnley, scoring 43 times in 130 appearances.

 

The 18-time English champions are in fourth place in the Premier League table.

Always had a great attitude. Maybe a bit lacking in overall ability but as part of this team and if he recovers see no reason why he cannot play a part. Not everyone can be a Messi. Got to be an upgrade on Sturridge

Being an upgrade on Sturridge doesn't mean he'll be anywhere near what we need in the squad.

 

Hope he makes it though, as he seems to really deserve it, but I'm not very confident on his behalf.

 

If Klopp counts on him when building the squad for next season it'll be a massive mistake. Harsh, but that's football at this level.
