Klopp's Tactics

Not too long ago people were comparing Klopp's record with Brendan's. I don't know what the comparisons look like now, but I do know that Rodgers could never organise a collective defensive performance like that.

May as well compare him to Hodgson.  Klopp is a class above.  We're very lucky, he's also a romantic for he deserves a squad capable of competing with Pep in the league.

I really do not get why people see it necessary to use one Liverpool manager Klopp as a tool to beat a former manager in Rodgers. Let it go. The man has gone. Crazy.

That wasn't the intention. I absolutely loved the wild ride of 2013/14, but it raised the question (which endured until recently under Klopp) of whether it was even possible to marry attacking flair with defensive solidity.

This manager and this team have answered that question.

Saw Plan B tonight

Move Mane over to help Trent on the right flank, drop Firmino deeper - 5 in the midfield- stick Mo upfront on his own

That was very smart also when you consider the fact that Salah might not have been 100% and sticking him up front gave him fewer defensive responsibilities and kept him fresher.

Mo showing that we might have two players in the squad who can do the Firmino role.

I was a little bit cross at the big man, on Saturday. Everton away is my favourite game of the season, and we didn't follow in Arsenal's footsteps and cause the full scale riot Firmino, Mane and Salah are capable of.

Last night assuaged that, though, it was absolutely outstanding. The best atmosphere they've ever had, had us ready to go in the first half, then we score with the only chances we have.

Bonus points for ruining the British press wanking themselves silly over RONALDO! against the best team in England's history.
