Bio Energy

I've got some longstanding health problems that are nagging away at me lately. A friend has recommended I book a few sessions with a Bio Energy practitioner as he helped him before. I'm a bit wary of alternative therapies to be honest.

Has anyone here ever been to one or know about what it is and can tell me if they're any good? Or is it a load of horse shit. Don't want to be rude to my friend as he means well but don't want to be conned either.

Cheers x

Like the others so far I've no experience of Bio-energy (sounds a bit like reiki?) but I wouldnt dismiss it out of hand (always with Kal-El's caveat that the whole field of alternative therapies is largely unregulated)

I used to feel similarly but while attending a physiotherapist for a back problem I mentioned that I had persistent pain in my right leg that was causing restricted movement (it had got tot the point where I thought I was going to be stuck with it forever), he gave me one treatment of acupuncture and the pain disappeared and has never returned.

If you have got a recommendation to treat a condition that hasnt responded to treatment to date, apart form the cost of an initial session, what have you got to lose?

It does sound a lot like Reiki doesn't it? I'll probably go a ahead and book a session. Worth a try anyway.
