We've got the quality to put them to the sword over there- even without Agger, Torres and Gerrard.

They look dangerous and I think we'll need to put in a really committed defensive display, as against Arsenal.

In all honesty I don't really care if we lose, I rather we played less games with less travels and focused on the prem and domestic cups. Europa league is just a distraction.

Im dreading it being confirmed personally. If the team which Alex posted earlier is the team were playing tonight - i fear the worst.

I don't care what the line up is, if we played with some intensity and fight we'd be ok but I don't see enough of that team spirit and passion. That's what really gets to me because it's so important and can raise an average team to a very good one and looking from the outside I don't see it in the current squad.

Indeed. But we have a left-back on the pitch, and we have a right-back on the pitch - so why is neither playing in the position to which they are accustomed?

 

Have we not learned from these mistakes? Playing a centre-back on the left wasn't the best idea considering how it turned out - and thats an example i can use from THIS WEEK!

Tricky one this. The Turks are famed for being able to create an intimidating atmosphere and I'm fully expecting one tonight. While they're not a world class side, they showed in the first leg that they're no mugs and are more than capable of being able to keep the ball in the final third.

 

Hopefully we'll get an early goal to silence the crowd and settle everyone down.

I'm not happy that Patches and Babel aren't playing but I'm delighted with the playing time that Kelly is getting. I see a real player there and out of any of our reserves he's easily the one you'd say will make it here let alone a smaller Premiership club.
