You're also including Torres, Johnson and Agger, all of whom were injured for large parts of last season.

 

I'd like to humbly suggest that if Rafa had a fully fit squad to pick from for the whole season, just like you're doing above, we'd have finished a lot higher than we did, and went a lot further in Europe.

It wasn't a negative policy when we were twatting teams last season, and came within a whisker of winning the league, along with being top scorers.

 

It was the lack of (quality) personnel this season that made the difference, not negative tactics.
