Very tough this as there is so little between a lot of the players and in some positions there is so much strength but relatively little in others.

I'm not that surprised really. I honestly think we're easily the best side when we're on form, so having 4 or 5 of them in isn't that wierd to me. We seem to have a solid center running from keeper to striker too, but it's just the sides that need working on, as in wingers and full back/wing backs.

 

I couldn't imagine a side without these in it though :

I love all of those players... but some might argue that Essien and Fabregas are better than Xabi. Gerrard is in by default, Chelsea fans would probably prefer Cech, United fans prefer VDS, and as for Torres he is a shoe in but I can see some chooseing someone else like a Drogba.

It occurs to me that the standard of goalkeeping in the top 4 isn't that high. Particularly United and Arsenal. In fact, the standard of world goalkeeping isn't that high at the moment, or is it just me?

 

Essien would play away games instead of Alonso. You guys all seem to rate arshavin loads, I've barely seen him play yet, must make amends. Oh, hang on, that reminds me, Arsenal are on the box tonight!
