It seems that young Mr Klinsmann is still not off the radar. I had a mail from my Uncle who lives in Munich, an avid bayern fan (he took me to my first ever live match Bayern v Real Madrid when I was 8 fact fans) and good friends with plenty of people at the club.

It seems that Klinsmann is still in regular contact with our lovely owners, which has not gone down well with the people at Bayern, for obvious reasons. His position at Bayern is very shaky to say the least and as far as they are concerned his job can only be saved by a very good run in the CL and taking the German league title, neither of which seem particularly likely on current form. That would make him available in the summer. Someone mentioned him on another thread and I argued firmly against him as i think he is unproven and definitely not in the same league as Rafa. As they say, be careful what you wish for, as it may come true.

Time to retire from LFc for a bit if that happens.

RiS: what's your view on Rafa? I ask because i wonder, cynically, if this is just a bit of scaremongering - ie let's try to get fans to rally behind Rafa by naming Klinsmann as his likely successor?? There's nothing at all in the german media about Klinsmann and Liverpool as far as i can tell.

Of course, if Rafa goes, I'm not sure i trust the current board to choose a good replacement, but I don't think scaremongering helps.

How can people still neg me after I edited my posts?

Some bloke came over to my place. He set light to my house and raped my cat. But he said sorry and put the fire out and bandaged my cat. So I shook his hand and told him not to worry about it.
