Yep, daughter was born with one of their albums on in the back ground..

 

Cecilia is ace, always brings a smile, a bitch of a woman..

 

It`s generally accepted that the Cecilia referred to in this song is actually Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians and that Paul Simon wrote it after recovering from a period of writers block, hence the "Jubilation, she loves me again".

 

Another theory however is that its about a dog.

Brilliant song all the same.

Bumped to just say having watched the live in New York concert today, Paul Simon was quite fit back in his younger day. (yeah, i know he was about 40 for that,you younger ones can shut it)
