Mark Steel is great. But I think the Galloway character was wearing a bit thin. This might have given it a new lease of life. I haven't heard the latest one.

Has he got any prior connection to Rochdale?. He just seems like an opportunistic cunt who isn't arsed about the issues in his constituency. First things he said when he won were about Gaza and pissing off Kier Starmer. I doubt he'll do much for Rochdale, all it seems is about getting back into Parliament and liking the sound of his own voice and winding up as many people as possible there. 

 

Tries to talk like he's Richard Burton or some Shakespearian actor and never shuts up. His interview about Tatcher was funny though and calling Rishi Sunak a cunt.

I think he just seeks out high Muslim populations and tells them he's their friend and hopes they're stupid enough to fall for it.
