What a fucking voice this is! I love the change up, too. There's a great boogie edit of it on Soundcloud by DJ Prime that I'll throw up when Dave moves to the new forum software.

Apologies if some of these have already been posted in here - I know Paul has his finger on the pulse like few others - but here's some of my favourite stuff that I've heard over the past few months:

Firstly, this is fucking dope. Gummy Soul mixing Pharcyde lyrics with Tribe Called Quest beats: ATCQ Vs. Pharcyde - Bizarre Tribe: A Quest To The Pharcyde

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N99tx7l8yn0

Myron & E - If I Gave You My Love

The Underachievers - The Mahdi

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp-rlFGed7Q

Las Supper (Big Daddy Kane is involved in the group) - Heart Of Gold

Dessy Hinds - P.E Enlightenment

Thundercat - Heartbreaks & Setbacks

Charles Bradley - You Put The Flame On It

Greg Grease - C.R.E.A.M

And, from arguably my album of the year so far, 'Ceremony', Raashan Ahmad feat. Homeboy Sandman - No No No

Love that Myron & E tune. Stones Throw are so fucking ridiculously consistent as a label. The video is boss too. Loads of proper soul heads getting down. It's all about the music rather than getting half a modelling agency in.

That Dessy Hinds tune is fucking great too. He's the dude who's writing for everyone these days include Solange.

Can't get some of these on my phone. I'll check them later. Charles Bradley is an absolute Don though and any new Fly-Lo production is a must. He's been doing loads of hip hop recently with Odd Future and also doing stuff under the name Captain Murphy.

"Run the Jewels"
New Killer Mike and EL-P project! I like it alot and it`s free to download from the Fools Gold records site. Good stuff!

EL-P`s older stuff is awesome also, he`s one of them producer/beatmaker/rappers who doesn`t suck.

"Spyder Turner - Ride In My 225"
Heard this little gem a while back listening to some garagepunk.com podcast. It`s just an old good time groovy song with an awesome beat.

Just found this. Doom, Earl Sweatshirt and DOOM! Holy fuck!

I know, they're fucking brilliant. I'll check out any artist that signs to them, no questions asked, purely on the strength of their success. 9 times out of 10 they're ace.

They've got a subsidiary label called Innovative Records which has loads of boss stuff on it, too. Such a variety of acts from different genres, including Nick Waterhouse, the brilliant Buddy Holly looking motherfucker.
