Anyone who thinks Ferguson hasn't been involved since the beginning needs their head testing, it's an ideal set up. A prodigal son picking up the slack any self-respecting manager wouldn't be interested in whilst still having Ferguson's ageing but talented input available. In the short term it will probably work quite well but in the long term they are still going to suffer from the same problems.

I definitely think it will store problems up as it’ll let them sweep necessary systemic changes under the table if he’s leaning on Taggart.
