The owners seem have wised up quite a bit, we are going to challenge for a top 4 spot this season, why on earth would we sell our best player/chance in January? makes zero sense, especially finacially with what its worth to get in the CL, it would be a similar situation as the Arsenal bullshit, would just be football suicide.

 

If he really wants to go in the summer then he gets told he can but no way your going in Jan, get us in the CL and you can piss off if you really want to, him staying for the whole season is the least he owes, i reckon he'll be ok with that anyway.

I do think the only reason anyone said they would sell him, is because they doubted he would be putting in the same level of performances if he was sulking. Now that worry has been put to bed, I think we're all happy we held on to him. I just hope we can get top 4, and I hope that is enough for him to stay and fight in the Champions League with us!
