It's safe to say anyone who's spent plenty of time around people from a traveller background will have laughed when some said Fury's bottle may go once in the ring in Germany. I remember one journo just tweeted "Tyson's Fury's eyes" that night.

Be interesting to watch them fight, more so than exciting I would expect. Certainly if Joshua catches him clean it will be curtains, but then no-one will know that more than Fury himself.

As much as he acts like a fool, and only some of that's for show, when they first announced the Klitschko fight over there he stood on the pitch afterwards and listed most of Wlad's record in reverse order, including details about each fighter; results, style, limitations etc, which just made you think twice about the fight, so it seems he takes a very thoughtful, analytical approach despite all the clown stuff, and will know he's likely not winning any kind of war with Joshua.

Anyway mate, on my third night in a row and hanging, spraffing bollocks, so off to keel over. Hope the injections haven't been too grim and are bearing fruit.

I fully agree on Fury hiding behind the persona, he ain't half as thick as many believe. Maybe his crazy outbursts are cleverly planned. I just think AJ has youth and power on his side, but the youth could also be his downfall against a wiry opponent.

Thanks for asking about my health situation mate, means a lot. Not going too good, despite the three rounds of injections things are not looking too good. The pain in my ankles has disappeared which is good but the Shoulder joints have gotten worse. I had further tests which showed the infection has not subsided but holding out on the fact it can take up to 4 months for the treatment to take full affect.

I have been reading about your own medical battle, bit of a minefield tbh, still working out what treatments in mainland Europe could be different/helpful to you.

First day back on the sauce for me agter 5 weeks, hanging myself......but happy.

I'm not buying the hype yet. I knew that Martin was shite having seen his last bout and a few others on YouTube.

Fury still beats him IMO.

Those big long arms would keep Joshua at bay for 12 rounds, not easily but he would.

Hearing Joshua has ready lined up Malik Scott first defence. All aboard the money train.

While Fury has lined up a reincarnated Tyson/Ali/Foreman  unbeatable robot.

AJ is still a young lad and yet a World Champion, not his fault the heavyweight division is void of good fighters. Fury himself in an unknown quantity IMO a shite fighter making it big in a crap era. AJ would fucking retire the gypo God loving bastard IMO. But we all know that the powers that be will save that fight for further down the line when big bucks are in the offing.

What do you think the Heavyweight rankings should be? I've just knocked up the below which is a mixture of who I rate and their record, very likely to change on a whim though:

1. Fury

2. Klitschko

3. Wilder

4. Ortiz

5. Joshua

6. Povetkin

7. Stiverne

8. Glazkov

9. Parker

10. Pulev

I don't think even beating Fury would get me joining in the AJ wankathon.

I usually wait until a boxer has beaten someone good, but these days fuck knows who that might be. The heavyweight division is a shit show of epic proportions

Got hope for Joe Parker, but the jury is still right out on him as well.

Joshua is world champion and he's still yet to face anyone that a prime Lennox Lewis, blind folded, wouldn't have knocked out in round one with a stiff jab.

I think Fury v Joshua would be slightly interesting because Fury would at least move his head and throw some punches.

Or any of them other things what boxers are supposed to do.

Charles Martin was so clearly there for the payday.

Took a few right hands and then pulled a 'get up at 10 and then feign outrage at being counted out' trick.

Not knocking Joshua. He's a good kid and that clearly, I'd just feel a bit short changed if I'd bought that.

I'd go along with that, maybe have Wilder a bit lower down and Haye at number 10 in place of Pulev.

I'm with you there, Hooch.

He easily could have got up. He got life changing money to come over. He didn't want to know as soon as the first right hand landed.

Spare a thought for me, Hooch.

Got in a bit pissed after a Grand National party, must have missed Rose/Macklin & McDonnell. Copped the last few rounds of Hunter / Selby then fell asleep & woke up with Joshua wandering down the tunnel with Mourinho.

£16.95 kerching.

I went to the fight on Saturday and got back yesterday so haven't commented on the event yet so will do so now.

I got into the arena when Jamie Mcdonnell was on and pretty much missed the full fight due to the slowest barman in the world at the arena. Got back just in time for the knockdown, though

Thought Selby looked alright. Great dig to knock him down but done well to get back up and win the fight in the end. Hunter could have done more to pressure him I thought, though.

Conor Benn done what was needed. I watched the video of him sparring O'hara Davies and knew he was someone who likes to come forward after that. Obviously has tons to learn due to it being his first fight but that will give him a lot of confidence going into his next fight. Nigel Benn dancing was embarrasing. He won't be anywhere near as bad as Chris Eubank for taking the limelight from his son but it has made me laugh how he said he won't be involved much with everything yet was at the full press conference next to him, doing all the interviews with him etc... I know it's his Dad and all that but I felt like I seen more of him than I did Conor.

Groves will get slaughtered by Smith if they meet I think. Brophy looked like he didn't want to be there and the first dig that took Brophy to the ropes was enough for him to not want to be there. Groves seemed to want to be patient and get a couple of rounds in.

Was buzzing with the Joshua result. Even though I had a bad feeling for some reason for the fight, deep down I knew that's how that would turn out. Joshua would try and find his range in the first round and then second come out and throw the right a bit more. Glad he come out the way he did rather than the way he did against Whyte. No idea why Martin was protesting at the end either. He was down for 15 seconds! The ref spent a few seconds telling Joshua to get to a neutral corner while Martin was down and then when he eventually went over to Martin, started counting from 5 or 6.

Still not the finished article, Joshua. Nobody knew the type of Martin was and we still don't. He barely threw his left and Joshua was too clinical with the right and once Martin felt his power, he didn't want to know.

Due to styles, I still fancy Joshua to beat Fury myself. I'm probably in the minority but that's just my opinion. I think Haye would give Joshua much more of a problem than Fury due to their styles. Just my opinion like I said, though. It will be interesting to see who AJ fights next.

How does Haye get in peoples top 10 when all he has done is knock over a proper dead beat bum in 3 years.  His next fight is against somebody who was considered for Joshua’s third professional fight.  Haye would beat 10, 9, 8 and 7 in my list though.

1 – Fury

2 – Klitschko

3 – Wilder

4 – Povetkin

5 - Ortiz

6 – Joshua

7 – Malik Scott

8 – Pulev

9 – Parker

10 - Chisora

I wouldn't have Malik Scott in there, he's dreadful.

Klitschko

Wilder

Fury

Joshua

Ortiz

Povetkin

Parker

Browne

Stiverne

Haye

Just looking at all these lists & understand the linear champ etc. but I honestly think Fury is a desperately poor heavyweight champ & just got lucky with Klitschko seemingly getting old overnight, although I might be tempted to have a few quid on Vlad for the re-match as despite boxing as if he was in a coma he still kept it close with Fury.

Baby as he still is in heavyweight terms, I feel Joshua would batter him & his only chance would be to grab & lean on AJ all night and hope he blows up, but even then he probably hasn't got the power to ko him.
