In answer to the original question from Ant, of course he was always on a hiding to nothing. Taking the Chief Executive position at Anfield is an impossible job, he's the face of the board, just as Parry was and he's going to get the blame for almost everything that happens off the pitch.

Right, i supported Rafa as much as anyone and was gutted when he left but...it's history now. We all need to get over it and move on to the sunny uplands of Uncle Roy and Aunty Cecil.
