Yeah well thats true. But he seemed to be driving us forward so much better than i've ever seen Lucas do. I suppose their different types of players but I reckon a fully fit and settled Aquilani would help us take apart weaker teams in a way i've never seen Lucas do. I think Gerrard might be hinting he prefers Aquilani in there with his comments about him.

 

thing is Aquilani might leave us open infront of the back 4 but Masch is there for a reason I suppose.

One thing i did notice about Aquilani is that he didn't really win anything in midfield.

 

thats because he cant tackle.at roma he was the same,he runs to the player then stops once he gets there.bit like like paddy berger used too.

I just watched the highlights.

 

We should've won that easily with the chances we had. Dossena and Agger missed esy headers.
