Just half-watching Enemy of the State now on some ITV-whateverthefuck channel, never seen it before.

 

Not the worst film I've seen this year, but the stupidity of having Will Smith as the central lead character is glaring. I like Smith and he's a good comedy actor, but he's never in a million years a high-powered lawyer.

 

Any others?

That's a damn good point you make. I'd completely forgotten about him in that.

 

I actually don't hate him as an actor and thought he was alright in lock stock but he's certainly gotten a bit carried away with what he thinks he can do.

 

There's roles that are alright for him and there's roles he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near.

I'll give you another Superman one, Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. Utterly unconvincing.

 

I'd add Brandon Routh to that, awful performance and seemimgly cast purely for his physical likeness to the character - surely that shouldn't be enough.

 

Fuck, Kevin Spacey as Luther while you're at it!

 

Awful film.
