Without wishing to spoil it for people, could anyone confirm whether they ever found the Mysterious Cities of Gold?

And, did the kids on Dungeons & Dragons ever get home? I remember one episode where they went up an uphill waterfall and came out in the pond in the amusement park, but had to go back as one of them had been left behind.

The 'real' city of gold was rumoured to be in modern day Bolivia, it was a small citadel made of mud which contained fool's gold and would glimmer in the sun from a distance.

What a kick in the balls, all the indians living in peace, some spany-ard spots it, tells his mates, next thing you know it's a fucking invasion. And all for what? A load of shite!
