Atalanta are a proper pain in the arse to play against. This is near identical to both the games at Anfield where they beat us.

The way they spread the game out is so good. They know when to sit off, when to press, trapping the ball at times but keeping a deep line so they don't get played over. If you try and play through the middle they bring extra men in to congest it and if you go direct they have the covering pace and strength to make it hard for the attacker.

 

The Belgian lads and zappacosta central to making it work, it seems.
