Sums up the game as it is now - Phil Foden has just collected his 6th league winners medal.

Klopp is leading a sing along at Anfield and the rest of the country is reading this:

'Guardiola is a winning machine'published at 18:42

Pep Guardiola has designed a style of football that is being copied not just around this country, but all around Europe.

Most of all he is a winning machine that instils that in everybody who works with him.

So, there we are, the PL 2023/24.

The best player was Phil Foden, the best young player was Cole Palmer, both City graduates, the top scorer was City's £150m signing, and City win their 6th title in 7 years ahead of their closest rival, coached by their ex manager.

Tune in next year to find out what happens next in the unbelievable, rivetting, EPL.

Just seen Haaland on MOTD saying that people don’t seem to fully appreciate what a great achievement four titles in a row is. I’ve heard a few others in the press saying the same.

You can tell that it’s starting to smart a bit. They can win title after title after title. But, they’ll never get what they really want. Which is full, untainted, unequivocal praise and acknowledgement of their achievements.

They’ll never really be the people’s champions and will forever be viewed as champio115 instead. And they fucking hate it.

What a bunch of fucking losers Arsenal are, the nerve to laugh at us when we fell short and look now the tables turned.......fucking bittersweet.

All the luck in the world you could possibly imagine yet they still fell short.

You can gave a go at the fans, but I thought their team did about as well as could be expected, and calling a team losers when they won 14 and drew 1 of their last 16 games is a bit silly, and you could argue opens us up to the same argument in previous seasons.

McNulty on BBC sport. He says this everytime they win anything.

This is where the elephant in the room must be mentioned because every City success will be accompanied by the narrative that they still face 115 Premier League charges for alleged financial irregularities - charges the club are at pains to stress they strenuously deny.

It is 15 months since those charges were levelled at the club. Unless and until there is clarity and a verdict, City will always be subjected to this outside noise and suspicion every time they win a trophy.

Even if they somehow find a way out of this lawfully, they'll always been seen as cheats in the eyes of every football fan and they'll always be known as an oil manufactured club with no fan base. Either way they lose so.
