Well we won - and ultimately 3 pts is most important thing.

Thought we looked tired and lethargic and with another game shortly (Sat) and without many options to change things in midfield especially i fear for us against a side who play how Brentford do.

When games come thick and fast a lack of options can become a real problem.

We've got to get the midfield rebuild spot on this summer - our options to really make changes are virtually non existent as it stands, look at the starting and midfield bench options tonight, is that anywhere near good enough to challenge for titles and battle deep across competitions - and there is no really key player missing right now (not counting Thiago as his 45% or so appearance record does not make him key and is actually a huge part of the problem)....

We also need to work out what the plan is in attack as it feels like we don't fully know right now.

Wasn't great but another win to keep our run going. It was infuriating how we just kept giving the ball away in the final minutes. Players trying fancy flicks and very low percentage shots instead of just keeping possession and eating up more time. Almost paid the price right at the end for it as well. It always feels like we have to give teams one more chance in the final few minutes when we're defending single goal leads. One of those games that will very quickly be forgotten.

These run-in games feel slightly meaningless given that we're highly unlikely to get top four, but given some of our defeats and even draws this season, I'm okay with us winning unconvincingly.

I thought Hendo was decent. Nunez was not great but still won the pen. 
Should have been able to put another one in at the end of we’d had a bit more quality and composure.

First half wasn’t too bad, second half pretty poor apart froms ten minutes or so spell.

 

Positives for me is Jones finally managing to string a few games together and delivering solid performances. And not least Diaz coming back after so long out and instantly looking excellent, really special player we’ve got there. And another example that a world class goalkeeper is nice to have in your team. A regular PL standard keeper in goal for is this season and we have 10-15 points less.
