Time zone issue here as the timing of this shootout, particularly in the UK, heavily favoured LOTR fans.

Lord of the Rings, read the book years ago though i wouldn't now, so just for creating a good job of putting it on film as opposed to your imagination when reading it. 

Some things can't really be as good as the book and hard to get over on TV such as PG Wodehouse. 

Plus I don't know what Dollars is, is it rude or something?

Apart from LoTR I agree with you. I despise Harry Potter,Dungeons and Dragons etc,but thought the LoTR films were a cut above and transcended those boundaries. After I'd enjoyed them though,I could barely tell you anybody's name or what happened in them.
