I’m not convinced by France.

 

All their defence has a mistake in them (even Konate) , Touchameni was in midfield by himself and they don’t have good squad depth in midfield or upfront.

 

When the front 4 play like they have tonight, they’ll be a dangerous side against anybody, I feel a better side than Australia would have caused lots more problems.

 

Considering most of the Australian side play in Scotland or the Championship, this result is hardly a surprise!

I didn't actually watch it live or even highlights, so I'm hampered somewhat, but I've not seen any team that's wowed me so far.  

I think the Dutch have another gear, their attacking players are hot and cold, but their defence is solid and De Jong will cause problems for the opposition. 

Tchouameni is likely to be player of the tournament though.  A mythological beastman. France are a danger to anyone, but you suspect it's a fragile balance.

If Kane ankle is gone they're fucked imho. They should rest him for the USA and Wales games. Should have enough to get through without him. Wilson is crap, they don't have anyone that can do what Kane does in terms of hold up and linking play

Wilson definitely isn't crap, but if they have to play him for 180 minutes in a week he will also break.
