I think O'Sullivan may well be one of the most tedious sportsmen there is.

I hate snooker, im playing rubbish, rinse and repeat.

Great to watch when he’s actually playing snooker though. I bet you’ve got plenty of sporting heroes that are knobheads away from the game.

You’re a big pool man, John. It’s making you bitter.

That break at the end said it all, what a player.

I get the complaints about him, but ultimately if he does retire the game will be much poorer without him.

I’m probably one of his biggest fans and he does my fucking head in at times.

But there’s not another player in the world you’d rather watch before him.

Absolute genius.

Brilliant. What a player. Ding applied some real pressure but O'Sullivan just completely accelerated away from him.

As has been said before, it's as if he sometimes lets the other player into it a bit just to up his own game.

The speed he moves around the table, his quick shot selection, the execution.

I'm 44 so remember Ronnie bursting onto the scene and he's been there pretty much ever since. The mad thing is, he probably should have won MORE than he has. And all those other greats who have come and gone, he's still there at what, 48?

I know he's got personality issues, but who hasn't? He's made my life better - I couldn't begin to count the number of hours I've watched him power round a snooker table.

There's a few players I like, but I'm always made up when Ronnie wins.
