What an ignominious way for his time here to end. I’ve always liked the lad and don’t mind admitting it, but you do have to feel embarrassed for the gimps who‘ve tried to make bigging him up from the start a personality trait, only to discover the others who saw through him have now decisively won that particular argument and made them look rather foolish.

From an on pitch perspective, I always thought England was the last thing he cared about.

Don't think it's coincidental we signed two attacking 8's and then all of a sudden his boy Gerrard gives him a call and tells him to come over. Don't think he had the stones to fight for his place, Klopp likely told him he'd play less, he talked to Southgate who told him he'll probably still pick him if he goes and here we are.

Ironic with the shouts he always had to quit England. It's all he has left.

I think that’s two polar opposite arguments that have been constantly repeated and both have always been wrong.

He’s always been a model pro that at first struggled playing right mid and then developed into a regular starter for the best team in the world under the best manager in the world.

He’s well past his best and it’s the right time for him to move on. His choice of club to go to though is extremely disappointing to say the least. Especially when you take into account all his good deeds and words about not just LGBTQ+ but society in general.

Henderson; never as good as half made him out to be and never as shit as the other half made him out to be.
