In America the slaves would eat a lot of fried chicken, keeping chickens was the cheapest option.

 

It's a racial stereotype associated with African Americans, chickenlicken actually knows this because he's picked it up from Americans using it in a racial context. Probably got it from the pony website he frequents.

 

He's a racist shithouse and god knows why this website has allowed it.

 

Calm down Rev. Al Sharpton. Admit it, you didn't know what it means and like a shimmering fartskull you just quoted the first thing you saw on wikipedia about slaves keeping chickens and got your panties in a bunch.

 

The simple answer is that these days the fried chicken stereotype is because it is perceived that African-Americans eat a lot of fried chicken, even so far as snide media articles:

You are the shithouse for bring up 'I can't believe the site allows this etc' when 'fried chicken' is about as offensive as Irish spud remarks and pastie-eating scouser comments - which was my ORIGINAL POINT.

Sorry, that previous post asking why it hasn't been challenged is completely unfair on the website and the mods. It's an American centric thing so it's gone unnoticed because most haven't understood the meaning.

What are peoples thoughts on Fried Chicken in general anyway ? I love a bit of kfc, a neat trick is to ask for no legs and plenty of keal pieces as they have all the meat on. Can't bare it from the likes of pizza places and that though, it generally looks and tastes more like fried rat.

I really don't like it. Although the gym I go to, there is a KFC right opposite and when I've been taking care of my two sick swans for a few hours, it does smell tempting.

 

I do love salt and pepper chicken wings though.

My good lady made chicken wings in vietnamese caramel sauce for dinner last night.

Yummy goodness that was. omnomnomnom.

KFC normally has too much grease and not enough chicken for my liking. Plus you know it's pretty crap stringy steroid kept in the dark chicken.
