So many great memories.

The arsenal game in the european cup. A crazy rollercoaster of a night. Also the arsenal fa cup game was incredible. To be on the kop when we stood as one and let the world know what we thought of that lowlife scum. I was so proud to be a Kopite that day.

However, Olympiakos was my first amazing night on the Kop and will be forever in my memory due to the bare patch of skin on my shin where i grazed myself on a seat rows from where i was stood. The hairs have never grown back! Mellor, sinama, gerrard, kewel, crazy tony et al al did the club proud that night.

Good shout. Forest games were bigger than the manc games then because they were more of a threat. Think it was the following season we played a 2 legged league cup semi final and Forest did the walk up to the Kop again. The noise again was deafening particulary because everyone used to whistle. It was loud enough when 1 person did it next to you but with 28 k around you it hurt! This time John Robertson ran up to the penalty spot, put an imaginary ball down, took a simulated penalty in his usual style and shook his fist at the Kop... cue ' ONE FATTY ROBBO !' from the Kop

Haha! I remember those Forest mind games. It is amazing that my feelings about Nottingham Forest were so intense at the time! I actually like them now and would like them to come up.

It's good reading about those lock outs as well. I remember a Swansea lock out - that game was intense too. Gates were locked at half two, despite many charges to get in apparently.

My dad tells me of a Man Utd game in the late 60s when the gates were locked at 2.30 and a load of mancs kicked the door in to get through. My dad ran with them onto the Kop. (He did something similar at Wolves in 76)

I remember that Spurs game and the Forest 5-0 fondly too.
