Very good performance again tonight from Martin. Composed on the ball and put in a few good crosses with his left foot.

Defensively, he was excellent. Always there to clear up any dangers and that block/tackle at the very end reminded me of something Carra does all the time.

After Cole, he was my MOTM tonight.

That just about sums it for me. Has looked quality everywhere in the back four.

Having watched him few times now, I think the kid is ready. Not only his composure and footballing ability, but physically he is ready to. He is one big lad in comparison to players like Darby who were told to build muscle.

Watching him tonight you would never think he was a young kid coming through. Yes he will have his weaknesses under pressure in games but from what I have seen, he is looking good and I think Hodgson is seeing that.

JC's long term replacement

Wasn't Wilson meant to be Carra's replacment?

We've got a good few young players coming through all the same. Kelly, Patches, Wilson, Shelvey, Dalle Valle. Even if they dont make it we will make a profit on them anyway. Kelly is a star in the making.
