I'm never one to moan about the ref, but this bloke is fucking shite. I've seen one vaguely justifiable card go to Gerrard, but he's missed loads from them - not least Mikel's retaliatory kick at Gerrard and Terry's little head nudge at El Nino. He's also been very poor in his general control of the match: about five minutes before half-time, he played the advantage, immediately saw us lose possession and never brought it back. He's fucking shite.

 

As for us, we've looked aggressive and solid. Albert's been comfortable against their right flank and Drogba is their only player who's looked threatening. Torres' goal was magnificent, though. The change of pace was a thing of beauty and then he added a finish to match. Roll on the second half. Come on you Reds!!!
