I don't know if there has been a thread started already about this fantastic band because I couldn't be arsed to look but if anyone hasn't heard them by now, go buy their self titled album asap...

Got their album last summer, its brilliant.

 

Went to see them live at the carling academy in Liverpool in Novemeber and they were good, although some songs struggled to have the same effect in a live setting.

 

The lead singers voice is one you either love or hate though and i can see a lot of people not being into them.

 

Whats your favourite track from the album? I think the last one is sweet.

Well as was already said your gonna either love 'em or hate 'em.... Arcade Fire are class.

Arcade Fire are excellent but Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are a class above. But yeah, very much a love them or hate them kinda band.

They seem like a decent band but as you say I would fear that they'd be poor live. They are in good company there though, I've heard that The Flaming Lips can be awful live.
