Sell:

Matip

Ings

Mignolet

Buy:

A big aggressive centre half

A number 9

A wide player

A controlling midfielder

Not too bothered with Ward as our second choice is Klopp is gonna keep Karius as first choice next season.

How wide? Molby wide ?

Punctuation is everything, either;

Imagine Klopp's crazy face staring you down as you line up to take a penalty. 100% of opposition penalties missed.

I am happy with Karius/Ward and think Clyne can cover full back. Wilson can give Mo and Sadio a rest every now and then.

If we have £200m then we should be able to find a decent foil for Virgil, another body in midfield (after Keita) and an understudy for Bobby. The latter being the most difficult, I think.

I'm not well enough informed to suggest names although Alderweireld would be a decent centre back acquisition.

If we have £200m........

Let me stop you there. We don't, we won't and we never will. We'll be lucky to see a net spend of £50m. I know we have money in the bank, years of negative net spend and we will sell plenty but nothing about these owners screams sugar daddies and let's face it their methods haven't failed them so far.

Getting a true picture of spending is almost impossible because wages are such a big proportion. New contracts for Firmino and Salah will probably cost an extra £50m over five years. Mane will be next in line. But a net spend of £50m ought to be the lower end of expectations.

Maybe, but you know it won't. Don't make me break out the year on year graphs and charts!

I think Harry Wilson is better, and Gray would cost a lot.

I don’t know by what reasonable scale he can be judged as better, as he has a long way to go to show he can make the step up. At 21, he has zero top flight appearances, where as Grey has 80, including experience in a Premier League winning side. Gray would cost quite a bit, I agree, but the potential to be very special is there. I’m expecting him to develop into an excellent player over the next couple of seasons. Wilson... let’s see what his Premier League debut is like, if he ever gets one.
