Trent Alexander-Arnold

I really dont think he was exposed.

Lovesies lost a tight challenge on their first goal and Rashford gambled and it fell straight to him - he is quick that Rashford fella so...

The second goal is not on TAA -- their CF wins a ball we have three players back (he is one) and Rashford comes in from 25 yards to win the deflection, anyone suggesting Trent should be out there is an idiot.

I thought it was hilarious when Mourinho was asked what else they could have done offensively and he said something along the lines of - "we could have had DeGea target their left back as well".

Quality that.

A good interview, though I kind of disagree with the scouse thing.

“They would run through a brick wall to get the ball for you, they’d tackle anything that was in their way, they’d get past any obstacle that was in their way to win a game.”

First two names that popped into my head when I read that were Luis Suarez and Dirk Kuyt.

Crossing is just like beckham used to do.

It’s not his attacking play or his passing or his crossing that’s the problem at the moment it’s his positioning in defensive situations, caught out a few times today letting Zaha get the wrong side of him. Like Elite says he should be taken out of the limelight for a bit at least away from the two City games, could have done with Clyne being back a few weeks ago to play in these because Sane is similar to Rashford and Zaha but better and more of an end product that could capitalise on every tiny mistake he makes.

The TAW crew interviewed him over the weekend; and it’s now up FYI. Just tuning in now.

Just being listening to that. Trent speaks very well for a lad of his age. Hopefully he keeps improving and spends his whole career here. Class player but huge game for him on Wednesday. Just really hope Matip or Lovren don't serve him up another shit sandwich

I’m made up for him. They clearly targeted him with one of the best young players on the planet and he absolutely schooled him. Really solid defensive performance. He’s showed he’s the real deal here for me.

He really proved himself tonight. Played like he was 10ft tall. Immense performance.
