It’s not his attacking play or his passing or his crossing that’s the problem at the moment it’s his positioning in defensive situations, caught out a few times today letting Zaha get the wrong side of him. Like Elite says he should be taken out of the limelight for a bit at least away from the two City games, could have done with Clyne being back a few weeks ago to play in these because Sane is similar to Rashford and Zaha but better and more of an end product that could capitalise on every tiny mistake he makes.

Clyne has been out for how long, a year? I’d be extremely surprised if he came back and performed instantly. Will probably need a handful of games at least to get back to his best, and more likely a full preseason as well.
