Was in banging in free kicks for the reserves?

Yes mate, I go the u23's and he takes free kicks and corners.... great going forward just needs to work a bit defensively... he takes no shit either, remember against Hudds he was throwing punches...

(though wouldn't say banging them in, he didn't play that often.. but remember a sim one vs Chelsea...)

He played for the reserves exactly how he played tonight.

Going forward he's a level above the U23s, just completely dominant.  Actually dominant, not just "has a good moment now and again," but dominant in the way Gerrard was where he just takes over games from time to time.

Defending he's still very raw.  Saw it again tonight with their goal, putting his hand up for offsides (not realising that Lovren was AGAIN!! two steps behind everyone playing Uth onside) instead of playing to the whistle.  That would be typical of the kind of lapses in concentration he's showed in the youth sides.

Then again, it's worth it when you get that kind of delivery and quality up front from a right back.  You'd take a player who scores you a wondergoal and then gives away a big chance to the opposition every game, no?

As Klopp teaches him to defend at this level I think he'll be a monster.  And how good will it be to have a scouser back in the side week in and week out again?

Keep him at RB and switch Clyne to LB.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Clyne BTW? There'll be Blue taxi driver rumours about him soon.
