Even shite teams have impressive scorelines and performances in patches. In the league you need to be consistent to be any good. And of course, we're speaking relatively. You don't need to be in the championship to be fuckin shite.

 

This sounds like an answer David Moyes might give during an interview.

There are some very good teams in the Championship,but money dictates who gets the best players and those teams often have sensible wage structures to prevent them going out of business.

You dont get to finish 4th in the PL by being 'fucking shite.' We're currently 5th. Even talking relatively, we're not shite, you just talk shite.

We're a good team with some issues. On our day we're ace. Can beat anyone. It's the days when it's not so good - how low are the lows? How frequent?

 

Champions have infrequent lows. Bad results happen to anyone, but not many of them happen to champions, and they usually shake it off and put a run together.

 

I don't think we've quite got the team for that sort of consistency yet, but it will be good to see how the season pans out. The league season is but five minutes old, and were off to Moscow today.

 

Lots to hope for.
