I'm no fan of London but I bet it was great up to the 70s. I hate the place now, a ridiculously expensive, strange, circus of a place.

There’s a clip in black and white of kids in Kirkby getting interviewed and they still had the sing song lilt to the accent.

All of my family are from the Eastern Ave end, but I started going up “The Crez” regularly in my teens and ended up living a few houses away for a few years before I moved down south. It’s a beautiful view, there’s no denying that.
