Most new books are shit. Read old books instead. Plenty to choose from.

Yeah deffo, people can write without looking though so I suppose it's different skills to an extent. I think then my fingers work, when I read I have to read the word/sentence then think.

Was tested in uni mate. It explained a lot to be honest, I struggled academically because I can't learn very well via traditional methods, so sort of had to develop ways of teaching myself and or blagging it, I've got a really good memory too which has helped. The best I ever did academically was in my A levels because the teachers encouraged discussion so I could learn concepts through listening and speaking, if big blocks of text are involved though I'm fucked.

Old is good when it comes to books, in more ways than one! When you get older, your memory fades and you can reread stuff you loved, except it's like reading it for the first time again (almost).

They actually make glasses now, I can't think of the name of them, but they have a tint. They've stopped people getting migraines and increased academic results massively for some people.
