Although it has to be said, the one on the right is annoying me...far too close to the paving.

And you could do with a go of my new Burgon and Ball paving knife, Stringy, to lift that moss

I do have one, but I have not turned my talents to the garden this year yet.  This weekend...

I need to build a square pergola for that little paved area to replace the one that collapsed during the storms we had in the winter.  Just a simple four poster structure to surround the paving, with some trellising (or something similar) on which to trail my grape vine and other climbing plants.  Any suggestions?

What's the cat saying about them?

Mine would almost certainly leg it if confronted by a mole.

We've got 3 cats, 2 that live in an out house and 1 indoors with us.

Unless its a 3 legged semi retired mouse, crippled with arthritis, it aint getting caught.

we're moving house in a few weeks time. The new house is on a corner plot so we now have 3 gardens (with 4 fucking lawns!), all of which are bigger than what we have now.

The house is in the woods too, so I've also got several trees in the gardens to contend with (probably gonna lose 2 of the biggest to be honest as they block the sun out in early afternoon - sue me)

Because it's in the woods I think I'm basically going to just have to work with the woodland environment rather than trying to control it! Ornamental and formal it won't be!

It's going to keep me pretty busy I reckon!

Looks fantastic. If only there was some way that I could have a calendar with pictures of your garden on it

ha

I've recently switched to Mac and it's made me borderline retarded in terms of image upload stuff.

Think I've cracked it now

Anybody on here got astroturf?

I'm a right lazy bastard and have been thinking that an initial hit on the bank account might save me years of graft. Any ideas in terms of types of turf and expense would be much appreciated.
