I think they could manage second.

We'll know more after they've played Chelsea and City again, but as things stand, there's very little in their way, they are growing in confidence, and will strengthen yet again in Jan.

LvG will have done enough to persuade the board to splash the cash again, and he won't be buying a 4 or 5 players, he'll buy maybe 2, at a high price. God help us all in the summer when they really go to town again.

I truly hope I'm wrong, but the monster that is United, is wounded, not dead.

It'd be interesting to see the red cards and penalties awarded for and against Chelsea this season. Every fucking week they seem to get a penalty and/or red card decision in their favour, yet a lot of these when against them haven't been called.

Cahill both with the handball v Liverpool (how the fuck was that not spotted?!) and the dive on the weekend not being yellow-carded. Throw in Costa's weekly cuntish antics and they are getting a very good run with the refs.

From the BBC Gossip page...

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had a mixed reception from children when he and his team-mates visited them in hospital. The England international wrote on Instagram:  "Nice to see some of the kids at the Royal Free Hospital today to give them some Christmas presents. Best moment of the day was when we surprised one of them and the first thing they said with a straight face was, 'I don't even like Arsenal. Can we get some Liverpool players?'"

You have to feel sorry for him there. And Oxlade-Chamberlain too.
