I seriously believe Veron is the most overrated player ever. For three seasons in the premiership he has been average at best. Did`nt see much of him in Italy, but when i saw him i never thought he lived up to the hype. He was crap at the world cup...

 

He looked a good player in spain, but that is a long time ago... So when he came on, my thought was that it could easily backfire...

 

As goes for Ranieri...He has been making such substitutions time and time again, so it`s a mystery for me that some who critisize Houllier`s tactical knowlegde would want us to appoint Ranieri...

Interesting that Monaco beat Deportivo 8-3 in the group matches. Why? Well in the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland, Hungary beat Germany 8-3 in a group match. The two teams met again in the final, the result was 3-2 to Germany.

If history repeats itself then surely that would be the greatest coincidence ever.
