Basically, got a new laptop a week or so again and registered my ipod with it, thererfor allowing me to sync all my music between the two. This worked fine and a few tracks where synced from my computer to ipod. Downloaded a few more tracks on Friday and every time I've plugged my ipod in since it isn't showing up on my itunes. It is beeping when I plug it in to the usb port, and the ipod is charging whilst plugged in but it's just not showing up as being connected on my itunes, or as an external device on "My Computer". Any ideas why? I have tried all deifferent usb ports, but to no avail.

Yes!!

I had this same problem the other week. Laptop fucked with all my music on which I hadnt backed up, a few thousand tracks on my ipod. There's no way you can transfer them over on itunes, but download Transfer iPod music to PC copy songs from iPod to computer,iPod to iTunes and it allows you to do with this program. If it's less than a 100 tracks then the free trial will copy them over for free, if it's more, as mine was, then you have to buy the software which works out at about 11quid. Well worth it though mate,
