There'a a bit at the start of Baz Luhrmann's (mostly dreadful) take on Romeo & Juliet - the "two houses equal in dignity" bit - where he briefly appears as the patriarch of one of the families.  Paul Sorvino is the other.  Just their screen presence tells you all you need to know about the history between the Montagus and Capulets.  Excellent casting.
