Slur surprisingly honest and gracious in defeat

He also said Carragher and Skrtel always jump with their elbows when tackling and the ref was on our side. Hardly gracious.

Correct. The bitter twat.

Anyone who thought Webb was on our side today must be fucking mental. Still, with Chelsea on the horizon, I expected Fergie to say that to get favourable decisions next w/e.

Webb had a very very poor game - from our point of view anyway.

The second booking for Vidic was more than merited. It was premeditated born of frustration. Ferguson to an extent is correct that plenty of defenders lead with their elbows in aerial challenges, however, plenty of defenders don't take a run up and go crashing into the side of Alonso's head looking to do damage. That could have easily been a straight red.

Other than that, the drunken old twat was pretty accurate in his assessment of the game.

How did Richard Keyes take it? Was he crying into his fur?

Yes, 'Funereal' is the phrase that summed up the atmosphere afterwards. You could tell all his pre-planned 'Will Benitez be sacked?' and 'Is that it for Liverpool this season?' garbage had been ditched extremely reluctantly and he didn't know what to do. It was so enjoyable to watch.
