got bought an iPod nano for my leaving present from my job the other week, and a lad at work had an external hard drive with 80GB of music on it, so i copied 2GB worth of stuff onto the iPod.

 

now, i want to get that from my iPod onto my new laptop and tried last night, but couldnt do it. Can anyone lend any advice?

ITunes program does it all for you.

 

it doesnt seem to want to. plus now its saying this morning that my ipod is in recovery mode and i must restore the factory settings which will remove all the songs on it.

Was your IPod on the Ale last night ?? that could be the problem. If its in recovery mode its better to let it ride that shit out or when you put in on shuffle it will keep shuffling shit songs to wind you up.
